Benchmark Case: Zhuhai Chuangzhi - AGV Project in the Power Battery Coating Roller Splitting Workshop of a Famous Lithium Battery Factory

1. Basic project description

A well-known lithium battery factory in Zhejiang province has a power battery coating roller slitting workshop. Faced with the problem of limited space but the need for multi plate buffer storage space for inter process turnover,Chuangzhi Technology has launched an omnidirectional forklift AGV, which can directly connect with coating machines and roller extensions to pick up and place material rolls, as well as with multi-layer shelf type buffer storage on the line..

2. Project innovation or product innovation

In recent years, AGV applications in lithium battery factories have become increasingly popular, almost becoming standard equipment and a part of lithium battery production equipment. However, in the pre production workshop, professional personnel generally provide feedback that due to differences in production capacity between processes, production abnormalities, and other factors, sufficient line edge roll buffer slots need to be configured to ensure the normal operation of AGV. However, in reality, most production workshops are relatively compact in space, and generally use a lifting AGV+single-layer buffer position, resulting in insufficient buffer positions that require manual intervention and relocation to correspond. As a result, the originally unmanned operation mode is broken, and cost reduction and efficiency improvement are greatly reduced.

Based on this, Chuangzhi Technology timely launched an omnidirectional forklift AGV, which overcomes the above problems in a targeted manner, enabling the production workshop to maximize the use of space in a three-dimensional manner, that is, using multi-layer shelf caching to increase cache space; At the same time, it has expanded the compatibility of AGV docking, overcoming the limitation of conventional lifting AGVs that can only dock with machines and single-layer cache racks, and cannot dock with multi-layer shelf style cache warehouses, thereby reducing the efficiency loss of roll material transfer and reducing the investment in logistics equipment.

3. Industry influence or customer value

This solution solves the industry pain point of the difficulty of fully unmanned operation of intelligent logistics in the production workshop of lithium battery factories, and has high practicality, achieving true unmanned operation< The solution reduces the investment in logistics equipment, and at the same time, the cost of the omnidirectional forklift AGV is reduced by 20% compared to the lifting AGV (conventional solution), which greatly improves its cost-effectiveness. At present, this application solution has been applied in more than 10 projects for 5 lithium battery customers, achieving good results.
