People's Daily Online, Bangkok, July 20 (Reporter: Jian Chengyuan) - On July 19, the launch ceremony of the AI-Empowered Super League for All Industries, themed "AI Guangxi, AI China, AI ASEAN", was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Simultaneously launched were seven sub-venues at home and abroad, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The launch ceremony for the Bangkok, Thailand sub-venue was held at the Bangkok Innovation Cooperation Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Representatives from AI enterprises in Thailand and other ASEAN countries, as well as Chinese-funded enterprises in Thailand, participated in the event. Xu Bo, General Manager of Makerwit Technology, reported to the main venue via live connection from the sub-venue on the company's application of AI technology in intelligent factories, overall solutions for intelligent logistics systems, and self-developed supporting core technology products such as industrial robots AGV, as well as the successful experiences achieved. He also demonstrated on-site how industrial robots AGV empower the development of the ASEAN smart manufacturing industry.

At the sub-forum, experts and scholars from the Bangkok Innovation Cooperation Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Thai universities, and representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises, along with AI enterprise guests from ASEAN countries, shared their explorations and practices in areas such as AI+ e-commerce, AI+ education, AI+ agriculture, and AI+ cultural tourism. Experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives unanimously agreed that Guangxi holds a significant strategic position in China's economic cooperation with ASEAN. They hoped to leverage the opportunity presented by this AI-empowered super league across various industries to further strengthen cooperation with all parties. Through Guangxi as an important node, AI can be better promoted for application in the ASEAN market, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly promoting regional economic development and industrial upgrading.

This competition features three major tracks: the "Scenario Breakout" Application Innovation Competition, the "Post a Challenge and Take the Lead" Industry Proposition Competition, and the "AI Everyone Innovates" Public Challenge. Additionally, it focuses on 17 key areas such as AI+Automotive, Overseas Talent, Cross-border E-commerce, Smart Tourism, and Smart Agriculture, aiming to discover innovative solutions that can be quickly implemented and have scalability, ensuring that the development and application of artificial intelligence truly puts people first and benefits the public.
The competition, which lasted from July to November, attracted the participation of top domestic and international enterprises, research teams, university students, and individual developers. It fully explored AI application scenarios, focused on cultivating emerging AI enterprises targeting the ASEAN market, promoted the deep integration of AI technology with the real economy, and facilitated the transformation of AI into new productive forces, empowering various industries.
